We are seeking an experienced On-Staff Accountant to oversee the financial management of our high-end custom home building firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage financial reporting and analysis, including preparation of monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and KPI tracking
• Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making
• Oversee the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and internal control policies
• Manage the financial aspects of contract negotiation and pricing
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve financial performance and efficiency
• Manage the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of the home building industry preferred, but not required

Salary and Benefits:
